The BIGHORN OUTDOORS wood pellet pizza oven is ready to start cooking within 18 minutes, allowing you to enjoy Neapolitan-style pizza in just 60 seconds. Equipped with folding legs, the lightweight and compact design makes it perfect for tailgating, camping, or any outdoor party.
To use the oven, follow these simple steps: 1. Ignite the hardwood pellets with an igniter or fire starter, and let them burn for about 3 minutes or until 2/3 of the pellets are ignited. 2. Put the fire box assembly into the back of the pizza oven and put the door on, covering the hopper lid. 3. After about 5 minutes, use the hopper shovel to gradually top up with pellets until you reach the top of the fuel hopper (approximately 16oz/450g). 4. Use an infrared thermometer to ensure the pizza stone and air temperature are similar, reaching 300°C-350°C (about 18-20 minutes). 5. Carefully take off the door and put the food onto the middle of the pizza stone inside the combustion chamber, then close the door. 6. Turn the pizza every 5 seconds to prevent burning, and add pellets one medium scoop at a time to maintain the temperature and flame. 7. After 30 minutes of burning, use the poker to remove the ash/dust in the ash tray for better air venting.
Remember, never pull out the pizza stone when it's hot, as this can cause it to crack. Allow it to cool completely before removing it to clean.
